I’m new to this whole ‘fitblr’ thing so take it easy on me :)
I’ve recently decided that I’m going to get fit and start looking after my body like it deserves to be looked after. I’ve never really been overweight. When I was in primary school, I used to be extremely active, then I got to high school and the exercise I did slowly lessened. Then I got to university where I did close to no exercise at all. And to top it off, my diet is atrocious. It’s a miracle I am the weight that I am!
So, I started this blog as an attempt to motivate and inspire me to keep going and not stop. Also to keep track of my progress and history with exercises, workouts, meals and whatever else.
I’m a healthy weight and I’m not looking to lose weight, if anything it would be nice to gain some muscle weight. But my main goal is just build on my fitness levels and eat healthy and clean. I want to feel better, more energised and less tired. I want to wake up in the mornings and be excited for the day ahead rather than sleeping in for the next hour. I want to turn laziness and complacency into determination and persistence.
It’s time to make a change, a good change. It’s also time to maintain this change and not go back to old, bad habits! I know it won’t be easy. Very rarely do I start something, and finish it. But I’m determined to give it my best so … here goes nothin’!
